The Concept of the Energy Trilemma as an Expression of the Energy Aspect of Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan

The article talks about the programs adopted by our country in connection with the transition to the “green economy”, the main directions of the application of “green technologies”, the advantages of innovative technologies in various fields of the national economy. The main goal of writing the article is to emphasize the importance of the transition to the “green economy” formed under the influence of the 4C industrial revolution of economic development in our country and justify the advantages it creates for our national economy. Today it is becoming increasingly clear that the main concept of the future in the twenty-first century is sustainable development. A feature of the “green economy” and the new industrial revolution is the use of innovation and, as a result, the achievement of sustainable development. Population, careful and rational use of natural resources in the interests of present and future generations. This study analyzed the directions for ensuring the protection of sustainable economic development of Azerbaijan. As a result, the economic adjustments necessary to improve the current situation were given by the authors in the form of proposals.
