In the current social environment, persons with disabilities face difficulties. When it comes to difficulties, people with mobility disabilities are no exception, so the problem of accessibility to events remains in their lives. The article aims to find good practices—design solutions that meet the needs of event accessibility for tourists and travelers with mobility disabilities. The main role belongs to the improvement of universal design and its accessibility for tourists with mobility disabilities. Therefore, it is important not only to consider the design of the facility when building structures, but also the accessibility of the service. The scientific problem is expressed as a problematic question: is the principle of universal design properly used, which must fully meet the needs of travelers, and how else could accessibility for people with mobility disabilities be improved? The purpose of the study is to analyze the accessibility of events for people with mobility disabilities. It was established that the provided leisure services meet the needs of customers in terms of their content, they are evaluated with a sufficiently high score, the compliance with the principles of universal design, from the point of view of the respondents, is visible and applied. The lack of a notice board with dubbing in Lithuanian and English is identified as an aspect that needs to be corrected. Another important emphasis is volunteering. Insufficient competence of employees when communicating with people with mobility disabilities. As an aspect to be improved, it is possible to name the organization of events for different groups of users, which would help the cultural factory to reflect people’s needs. Summarizing the results, it can be understood that there is a lack of close communication with the whole society, so it is especially important to create an idea to improve the situation.
