Such a system effectively leverages internal knowledge resources. Standard documents represent one of the most common forms of documents, usually stored as electronic documents within the internal knowledge management system database. This chapter introduces a structured analysis approach for aviation standard documents. It provides technical professionals with extensive referencing tools for various processes. These include product design, process design, technical reviews, and airworthiness reviews. When drafting the assembly outline for aviation products, technical professionals must consult relevant process specification documents. They reference specific content from standard documents and specifications, including part lists and process parameters. However, existing knowledge management systems lack intelligent applications for managing aviation standards. When technical professionals need specific standards, they must manually sift through the database. They do this by using document names or categories. Once the correct document is retrieved, professionals face the daunting task of browsing through lengthy standard documents, often spanning dozens of pages. They must pinpoint the specific location of the desired information, which is both inefficient and labor-intensive.
