Amazon Rainforest became urbanized forest, because the population living today in the Legal Amazon is approximately 29,396,954 inhabitants. And though the abundance of natural resources is high, 48.3% of its population suffers severe food and water insecurity. The National School Feeding Program (PNAE), mainly after the adoption of Law nº 11,947, is a public policy that could help solve these problems, because it fosters food and nutritional sovereignty and safety, and makes feasible fair trade and rural development. During the program execution, learning can occur involving natural and human domains to ensure a sustainable future. By taking into account this context, the Chapter aims to analyze the levels of learning about sustainability and the sustainable development fostered by PNAE in Boa Vista, Roraima. In order to investigate it, a qualitative-descriptive research and abductive logic were adopted, using as strategy a single case study. It was observed that there are other integrative policies in addition to the interconnection of municipal departments that catalyze PNAE results; however, Roraima state’s capital is in “transition” rather than “transformation” process of learning.

摘要
