This chapter provides a summary of the findings and concludes that the ten series of GHGs, aerosol precursors, and aerosols exhibit some degree of deterministic convergence. More specifically, six of the pollutants given by BC, CO, NH3, NMVOC, NOx, and SO2 display pairwise deterministic convergence and the rest presents a lower degree of deterministic convergence. This means that most of the individual series forming the respective panels of per capita emissions are characterized by the attainment of long-run convergence, in which countries achieve full convergence to their respective steady-state equilibrium value. We point out several important environmental policy implications resulting from the evidence of deterministic convergence.

摘要
