Sports trauma, preoperative dislocation episodes, delayed surgery, number of anchors and knots, and postoperative shoulder stiffness are described as contributing factors to acquiring postoperative arthritis. The patients and their parents should be aware of their preoperative cartilage damage and these possible harmful outcomes after any surgical procedure.
