This paper supports the continuous study and knowledge gained in the workplace, presenting the research of the “Analysis and Optimization of Wax Tree Configurations to Improve Production Parameters in the Precision Investment Casting Process.” All actions were analyzed and executed throughout the entire technological flow, step by step. Simulations of various casting configurations were performed, and data collected in the “Cast Part History” document were analyzed to assess sprue configurations and the resulting scrap in the casting processes. The goal of this research is to optimize production parameters in order to reduce and maintain the scrap rate as low as possible (ideally below 20%) and to ensure low production costs. The software used during this research includes SolidWorks 2019, ProCAST, Fusion 360, and Microsoft Excel.

摘要
