CCUS in Indonesia
摘要
The chapter discusses the reasons carbon capture, utilization, and storage (“CCUS”) technologies are receiving a surge of interests as one of the most promising means for Indonesia to reach its carbon neutrality goals and decarbonize its economy. It further provides an overview of projects which are reported to include CCUS technologies and includes discussion on the applicable regulatory framework for CCUS activities as well as concerns and challenges for CCUS projects development in Indonesia. The chapter concludes with the factors that the authors view as necessary takeaways from the development of CCS/CCUS in Indonesia until the date the chapter is prepared.
