During the resin impregnation process, permeability of reinforcement and rheology of resin is considered as the main controlling key of a good product. When dealing with the permeability measurements, there are a lot of materials and process factors influencing the permeability values. Therefore, this paper aims to study the effect of woven fabric geometrical parameters of natural-based reinforcement toward permeability behavior, specifically in terms of the yarn width, yarn spacing, and fabric thickness. It can be concluded that there was significant deviation in values between weft and warp direction. The average yarn width for weft was in the range of 0.20–0.39 mm, with the highest percentages of 59%, in which slightly higher with 71% in warp was in range of 0.40–0.59 mm. However, for the average yarn spacing for weft and warp direction, it was in the range of 0.50–0.69 mm, with 54%, and 64%, respectively. Interestingly, the average value of the fabric thickness is in the range of 0.549–0.630 mm, having a significant difference compared to the range of 0.225–0.300 mm, provided by the supplier. It is observed that permeability increases when fabric yarn spacing increases and decreases as yarn width increases, respectively.
