Developing Africa’s Human Capital: Recommendations and Suggestions

This chapter presents some recommendations and suggestions on how African countries can develop and accumulate human capital. The recommendations go beyond the broad generic approaches identified in the previous chapter to more specific ones that can help African countries to formulate programs and policies on human capital development and accumulation. The recommendations are embodied with in-depth theory-based explanatory notes that expound the rationale behind each proposed guideline to different groups of stakeholders in Africa’s sustainable development.
