摘要

Employees in the “gig economy” have the freedom to select certain areas of their work. Platform companies must still manage worker behavior if they want to develop their operations and provide consumers with a high level of service. Traditional organizations have studied control mechanisms, but the gig economy replaces human supervisors with digital systems. As a result, there is reason to believe that our traditional conceptions of control may no longer apply to new forms of exertion in the gig economy. This study investigates how employees in the gig economy, notably Urban Clap, Swiggy, and Zomato view behavior management and its impact on their employee productivity to allay these worries. Our findings imply that emotional intelligence, and work-life balance impact employee productivity.
