Based on some sustainability and fashion issues, concepts and ideas are presented in order to bring to light a necessary debate in contemporary times. Authors such as Gadotti, Sachs, and Bursztyn expand the reflection on the topic and make arguments that enable the construction of sustainable consciousness. In this way, some artistic possibilities for clothing produced with materials from raw materials are shown in order to demonstrate in practice, sustainably viable solutions. As a result of the research, the case study presented is the result of the artistic fashion workshop taught by the author of the research in a municipal public school in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
