A Hybrid Blockchain Approach for Academic Record Management System
摘要
Blockchain technology is widely applied in various fields with outstanding advantages in privacy, security, and transparency. Over time, blockchain has changed its concept of scalability through typical case studies. In the field of academic records management, blockchain is also widely applied. In this study, we propose a practical approach that combines hybrid blockchain with off-chain applications in student records management. The approach has been implemented on the infrastructure of the Data Center (DC) in Thu Dau Mot university (TDMU) and actually connected to off-chain applications. We also evaluate the performance of the approach based on latency, availability, and throughput. The approach theoretically overcomes the limitations of the centralized approach. Additionally, experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed approach.
