Before Russia invaded Ukraine, the country was one of the leaders in open data disclosure and development. According to the Open Data Maturity rating, Ukraine ranked sixth among all European countries in data openness last year. This position has a positive impact not only in the informational or legal sphere but also in the economy. The work of the Open Data Portal is one of the indicators that Ukraine continues to move in a positive direction of reforms and changes in all areas and directions. Accessibility and publication of open data make it possible to control the steps of the state, making corruption attempts impossible. The open data portal aims to provide information and communication in the field of open data and will help improve Ukraine’s position in international anti-corruption rankings. The portal offers several opportunities for different user groups, including government agencies that manage data, IT professionals, business representatives, NGOs, the startup community, and ordinary users of the Open Data portal. Each group can benefit from the portal’s services, making it a versatile tool for promoting transparency and accountability. The portal will be able to become the primary source of information and communications in open data. Government and nongovernmental organizations will use the Diia portal.
