The environment and society have suffered greatly as a result of the enormous amount of waste produced by population trends, industrial growth, and global urbanization. Waste output and resource consumption rise with rising income and living standards. A proper waste management strategy that takes into account trash collection and waste treatment is something that researchers and authorities are working to develop. But given the amount and kind of garbage generated, determining the best waste management practices has become increasingly difficult. In this perspective, the investigation of a number of significant local factors as well as a number of essential components of the waste handling management system—such as trash creation, collection, storage, transportation, treatment, recovery, and recycling—will be elaborated in this chapter.

摘要
