With the growth in technology, digital devices have largely replaced analogue devices. While this change is welcomed by many, the elderly users often struggle to adapt due to several reasons. This paper explores the possibility of designing a digital music device for elderly users in the Indian context. It examines the limitations, issues, and cultural aspects that affect their interaction with technology, and how these challenges can be addressed to create a more accessible and user-friendly device.
