The distal radius fracture (DRF) is the most common fracture site of the upper extremity. Within the spectrum of this injury, there are a variety of fracture patterns, some more complex than others. This chapter summarizes how to critically evaluate radiographic images, identify various articular fragments, and understand their significance in order to help facilitate optimal surgical treatment of these patients.
