Women in the Shadow of the Conflict in the Farming and Herding Communities in Plateau State, Nigeria
摘要
This chapter examines intensified contestations for land and water resources between the farming and herding communities in Plateau state, particularly the nature of women’s involvement in the conflict and the impacts on the conflict dynamics. Drawing on field data in selected communities, the chapter demonstrates how women have played major roles as actors in the conflict, but remained largely invisible, while undermining the peace processes.
