This chapter it is intended to introduce the main conclusions that can be extrapolated from the development of this thesis. To facilitate the description of the work carried out, it is first summarized the different studies that have been presented. Next, the main contributions are explained, presenting a list of the publications that have derived from this thesis document. Finally, the future research lines within the field of modeling and control of VRFB are explicated.
