Senegal is highly vulnerable to shocks associated with climate change. Crop production in Senegal, as mentioned in the previous chapter, is subject to historical droughts events and recent return of the rains and their flooding consequences. These climate-related events have led to the increased vulnerability to food security in Senegal.
