In a highly significant collection of studies, published in 2022, edited by Richard, Vélez, and van Vaerenbergh, the focus was on the potential contributions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhancing mathematics education. It contains interesting ideas that invite teachers to take up the challenge of incorporating AI in their pedagogical approaches. In a way, this present collection is a follow-up, but includes various other aspects as rationales for an AI-oriented pedagogical model, such as interdisciplinarity and even sensitivity to crucial world issues, such as climate change, thus filling in gaps in a complementary fashion.
