In compliance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this article communicates the results of a bibliometric analysis on the interrelations between Digital Transformation (DT) and Knowledge Management (KM). The operating data were obtained from the Scopus database and cross-validated with the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection. The literature search was run in June 2022 to detect all the existing evidence from 1990 to 2021 inclusively. To study a sample of 232 English language peer-reviewed publications this paper employed a co-occurrence of keywords technique on the grounds of the science mapping analysis. The network visualization maps in the period and longitudinal dimensions were created by leveraging the SciMAT software. Having shed light on the key theoretical bases and having provided a glimpse of the future of the field, the executed bibliometric analysis offers a generic picture of the current state of research in the intersection of DT and KM.
