Addition of Particulate Material from Sintering Plant to a Red Ceramics Mass
摘要
This work aimed to add sintering plant wasteWaste to a ceramicCeramics mass and evaluate the influence of incorporation on the properties of red ceramicCeramics masses and pieces. The raw materials were characterized by XRDX-ray Diffraction (XRD) and FRX. The particle size of the wasteWaste was also evaluated by sieving and sedimentation. Formulations were prepared with 0 and 10% of the wasteWaste, where pieces were produced by uniaxial pressing and fired between 650, 850 and 1050 ℃. The results indicate that the wasteWaste investigated has great potential for use in the red ceramicCeramics segment, mainly due to the possibility of adjusting plasticityPlasticity and reducing water absorption and linear shrinkage.
