摘要

Increasing current and reducing the anodeAnode-cathode-distance (ACD) are ongoing trends for pushing the productivityProductivity and reducing the energy consumptionEnergy consumption. This makes it more difficult for the feeding technologies to catch up. In this work the feeding is analysed in relation to the anode changeAnode change phases. In particular anode effectsAnode effects and overfeeding phases were examined for abnormalities in the periods before and after anode changesAnode change. A critical time for anode effectsAnode effects was found in the last few hours before the next anode changeAnode change, due to minimal secondary feeding. As a solution the development of a variable feed rate scheme depending on the different stages of the anode change cycleAnode change cycle is presented. The tendency for sludge formationSludge formation immediately after theAnode changing cycle anode changeAnode change, as well as the periods of minimal secondary feeding were taken into account. Significant improvements in the anode effectAnode effects rate and more stable feeding cyclesCycle were observed.
