Mass spectrometry was used to study the evaporation of calcium oxideCalcium oxide from the Knudsen molybdenum effusion cells in the temperature range 1812–2183 K. The partial pressures of vapor species over CaO were determined with an error not exceeding 10%, which is confirmed by calculations of the gas phase equilibrium with the atomic oxygen participation. The obtained information correlates with the results of previously performed studies, to a large extent refining them, and also agrees with the theoretical values. The effect of redox conditions on the calcium oxideCalcium oxide evaporation was studied, which made it possible to correctly compare the thermodynamicThermodynamics of evaporation data obtained by the mass spectrometric method using various materials of effusion cells.

摘要
