Methods and Sources That Inspired Daly: Synthesis and Critical Points

  • Antonina Wozna

摘要

This chapter shows that Daly’s idea of methodmethod is much more systematic than it might appear at first glance, although not explicitly. The thinker was maturing and adapting the multitude of methods and testing them in her works and workshops. The task is to gather all this material and see if something with a certain physiognomy can be composed from it. In addition to the classical sources, Daly will combine the advances of modern and phenomenological philosophyphilosophy and social sciences, incorporating the traces and procedures of hypothetical-deductive methodmethod, the concept of experienceexperience, the theory of languagelanguage, the theory of historyhistory, objectivity and subjectivity as methodological magnitudes, the concept of the world and of life as philosophical perspectives. In this chapter we will not only describe the use of each of these methodological procedures, since we want to focus on the novelty of the whole of their use as a system, which we have called ontolinguistic hermeneuticshermeneutics of theologytheology, and to determine the validityvalidity of their propositions by testing their applicationapplication to some critical points in the treatises on GodGod and Mariology.
