Introduction

In the contextcontext of multiple theological hermeneuticshermeneutics and a growing interest for gendergender and feminist studies, a question about which methodmethod suits better to the community and humanityhumanity and on what basis can be verified is crucial for a relevant (not only crediblecredible) transfer of faithfaith. Mary DalyMary Daly’s methodological approach connects epistemologyepistemology and hermeneutics enabling theologytheology to move towards representation (GestaltGestalt) and recognition (ethical moment) so that it takes on a holistic, womenwomen-mediated and balanced view of realityreality in the diversitydiversity of feminist movements. It offers structures to allow minimum agreements, challenge dualisms and binary oppositions so that differences would not lead to conflicts but each feminist would be provided with points of reference in her context and field, without constraining her own experienceexperience. The aim is to show what Daly’s ontolinguistic hermeneuticontolinguistic hermeneutic methodmethod consists of, how it is applied to dogmatics and BibleBible hermeneuticshermeneutics through the principles of Be-longingBe-longing, Be-friendingBe-friending, Be-witchingBe-witching and in what way it enriches current theologytheology and feminist theologyfeminist theology. Gender bias affects them but the gendergender key oriented to the good of womenwomen (as an indicator of validityvalidity), can be a paradigmparadigm of theology and a criterioncriterion of- actually- the best and most effective transmissiontransmission of faithfaith and social transformation.
