The growing demand for strong identity management across sectors from finance to healthcare has led to a wholesale move towards new approaches that focus on security, privacy and the user. This paper presents a new system that uses blockchain technology to transform identity management. This paper proposes a decentralized system, one where identities are issued by centralized authorities, governments, companies but stored and managed by the users themselves. This paper presents Block-Safe, a blockchain-based architecture that provides a decentralized approach enabling users to take control of their own digital identity.
