Summary
摘要
The presented book addresses issues related to clean coal technologies and their role in energy transformation. The analyses carried out concern the most important countries still based on coal, i.e. China, India, Australia, USA,with particular emphasis on the European Union. The study focuses on coal, because clean coal technologies werecreated for coal and it is mainly coal that is the subject of most global decarbonization treaties. Poland, as one ofthe EU member states, has an exceptionally complicated task - energy transformation and decarbonization of theenergy system by 2050. The restrictive standards and expectations of the EU towards its members put Poland inan unprecedented position on a global scale. Therefore, Poland was considered the most representative country inthis case. Either Poland will apply CCT and renewable energy and will turn out to be a great winner, or it will failduring the energy transformation process, the main consequences of which will fall on its citizens. The bookpresents the most promising CCT solutions, future directions of CCT development, the role of CCT in energytransformation and the development of renewable energy sources. If the implementation of CCT is successful inPoland, there is a high probability that their introduction will be effective in every country in the world.
