This chapter presents the benefits of using hybrid energy systems based on clean coal technologies and renewable energy sources. The idea of an energy-chemical cluster and a financial analysis of the profitability of building a cluster were presented. The connections and dependencies of the units included in the cluster were characterized and the results of the spatial analysis for an example cluster were presented.
