The transfer of cultural and historical heritage to the next generations is one of the subjects that connects the past and future of humankind and constantly attracts the attention of the academy. Within the scope of this study, registered mosques located in the city center of Bitlis, which is located in an important strategic location and where many different civilizations prevailed, were taken into consideration. Considering the current conditions of each mosque, structural deterioration and damage in the mosques were determined based on observation, and solution suggestions were presented. Building damage assessment of the mosques was carried out and damage forms based on observation were created. Risk levels were determined for all examined mosques using the rapid assessment method. As a result of the observational earthquake risk assessment, low risk was determined for the 12 examined mosques, while middle risk was determined for the other 4 mosques.
