The aim of the research is to determine fuel consumption when performing different agrotechnical operations when using navigation and to compare fuel consumption measured on the tractor’s computer and fuel consumption measured using the volumetric method. The research was carried out on the agricultural holding “PG Knežević” on a plot of 34.23 ha. The measurement was performed during two work operations (ripping and sowing). A John Deere tractor, Maschio Artiglio Magnum 300/7 ripper and a Kuhn Espro 6000R seeder were tested. The measurement of fuel consumption on the tractor’s computer was measured so that after the operation, the data was read from the computer, and before the start of the measurement, the meter was reset. While the “real” fuel consumption was done using the volumetric method. The research results indicate a significant difference measured between the tractor computer and the volumetric method. The research also compared the economic price of undermining and sowing with regard to fuel consumption according to the tractor’s computer and the volumetric method of measuring fuel consumption.
