Clinical Manifestations of Intrauterine Infections

In the conditions of a physiological maternity hospital, a comprehensive clinical, laboratory, and morphological study of women in labor, afterbirth, and newborn children was conducted, aimed at detecting herpes, mycoplasmosis, chlamydia, and cytomegaly using modern enzyme immunoassay, serological, immunofluorescence, cytological, and histological methods was provided in collaboration with NM Bogdanova. Infant’s catamnesis was traced for 18 months. It was shown that 75.7% of the examined women in labor had a history of inflammatory diseases of the genitals after abortions, which contributed to the pathological course of pregnancy.
