Strategies for Integrating Behavioral Data: Rater Bias Models of Youth Development
摘要
This chapter describes how a rater bias model, namely, the depression→distortion hypothesis, informed the development of the Trifactor Model, an integrative strategy designed to “generate integrative scores that are purged of the subjective biases of single informants” (p. 475; Bauer DJ, Howard AL, Baldasaro RE, Curran PJ, Hussong AM, Chassin L, Zucker RA, Psychol Methods 18:475–493, 2013). The chapter also provides examples of its use in prior work.
