Role of Stakeholders in Continued Organizational Success and Survival

The present and future success of any contemporary organization is dependent on the continued support of its stakeholders. While the support of all stakeholder groups and their members is important, the leaders of successful organizations recognize three essential stakeholder groups—customers, employees, and owners—in determining the continued success and, at times, survival of their organizations as they proactively pursue the mission, goals, and vision developed though its strategic management activities.
