Stakeholders and Organizational Success

Organizational stakeholders are individuals, groups, or organizations that have an interest in what an organization does and in its resulting success. Organizational stakeholders play an instrumental role in determining the success of any contemporary organization. While stakeholders’ varied needs and interests must be considered as an organization develops and implements its business plan and practices, our focus in this book will be on the two essential stakeholder groups consisting of an organization’s customers and employees.
