Communication

Effective communication is an essential component of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling that enhances the effectiveness of each of the four management functions. Communication is the means or process through which individuals share meaning through the formulation and sharing of messages. The goal of effective communication is to develop a shared understanding between the originating party, referred to as the sender, and the recipient of the message, referred to as the receiver.
