The Contemporary Organization and Its Employees
摘要
The contemporary world in which we live, work, and play is comprised of numerous organizations. We interact with these organizations as individuals, most often as customers or employees, and usually on a daily basis. While the nature of these organizations varies significantly in terms of their mission, goals, and contribution to our dynamic world, the ever-present reality is that the success of every organization—regardless of its product and/or service offerings, size, scope, or orientation—is always dependent upon people. People are the most important factor in determining an organization’s success, whether as owners who invest in an organization, as customers who patronize and support an organization, or as employees who fill mission-critical roles that enable an organization to survive and succeed in a challenging or turbulent environment.
