The oil systems of internal combustion engines ensure not only the distribution of lubricant to individual parts of the engine's movement mechanisms, but can be a source of energy to ensure other functions—for example, for the actuators of variable camshaft timing systems. As part of the experiments and their evaluation, attention was paid to significant pressure phenomena in the oil system. The work was mainly focused on the identification of pressure pulsations in parts of the lubrication system in places near the crankshaft sliding bearings. Measurements within the experiments were carried out on a 3-cylinder gasoline engine under different conditions.

摘要

The oil systems of internal combustion engines ensure not only the distribution of lubricant to individual parts of the engine's movement mechanisms, but can be a source of energy to ensure other functions—for example, for the actuators of variable camshaft timing systems. As part of the experiments and their evaluation, attention was paid to significant pressure phenomena in the oil system. The work was mainly focused on the identification of pressure pulsations in parts of the lubrication system in places near the crankshaft sliding bearings. Measurements within the experiments were carried out on a 3-cylinder gasoline engine under different conditions.
