Biomimicry in Machine Design: Symmetry, Harmony, and Perfection (SHP) Method of Self-Assembly of Nano-Micro-Macro Machines

In this paper, we start from known scientific facts about biological systems that are generated at the nano level, so that through embryogenesis they become a microsystem and with growth a macro system. From the aspect of nanotechnology, there is a challenge to create similar self-organizing technical systems that would be compatible and complementary to biological systems. To accomplish the given goal, it is necessary to define the method by which it can be achieved. From the point of view of science (“the West”), the fundamental determinant in knowing the structural arrangement of the system is symmetry, because all the basic laws of physics are based on symmetrical transformations. From the aspect of the information of the system (“East”), the basic principle of functioning is harmony. However, what “East” and “West” have in common, as well as the functional organization of the coded system (structural-informational), is what is primordial, and that is perfection. The SHP (symmetry, harmony, and perfection) method leads to knowledge about a new possibility in biomedical engineering for eliminating dysfunctional disorders in the human organism. Initial experimental research on the effect of the SHP “molecular machine” based on the second derivative of the C60 molecule (SD-C60) was performed on animals and humans for neurodegenerative diseases, melanoma, Alzheimer’s, pain, locomotor dynamics, and memory. Also, on the other hand, based on the “SHP nano-molecular machine”, it is possible to design and develop multifractal micro and macro machines based on self-organization and self-control.
