Forest Fires: Role in the Natural Cycle of Ecosystem Restoration and Their Impact on the Economy

This article is devoted to the topic of analysis of forest fires in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It shows the dynamics of the consequences of forest fires in the republic. The information base for the study was the statistical processing of data on forest fires, as well as the work of the authors of scientific articles. During the work, it was revealed that there is no unified methodology for determining the damage caused by forest fires. The main features of the reforestation process in larch burnt areas, clearings, and silkworms are explained. The author touches on the topic that forest fires are part of the natural processes that occur in the wild, which have a positive impact, in addition to the negative impact. To explain this topic, his work provides an example of research conducted in Yakutia. Furthermore, the study highlights the economic implications of forest fires, including both the costs associated with fire suppression and the long-term benefits of ecosystem restoration. The findings underscore the importance of developing a comprehensive approach to managing forest fires that balances ecological and economic considerations.
