Algorithm for Making Organizational Decisions on the Choice of Technology for Reinforcement of Stone Vaulted Structures

The preservation of historical monuments is one of the most important topical issues not only in the field of architecture, but also in the field of technology. Currently, regulatory documents do not contain organizational and technological solutions for strengthening stone vaults, and therefore there is a need to develop such a technique. The analysis of the literature shows that the existing regulatory framework and scientific research reflect the experimental and mathematical aspects of reinforcement, while the technology and quality control of work on reinforcement technology are practically absent. This paper presents the main criteria influencing the choice of amplification, as well as a number of proposals on the decision-making algorithm for choosing the amplification method. A comparative table and an algorithm for strengthening stone vaults are proposed, which allow designers to evaluate both the economic component of a future project and to develop organizational and technological documentation in more detail when performing reinforcement.
