Robotic Console for Thoracic Surgery
摘要
The use of robotic technology in thoracic surgery offers unparalleled precision and efficiency but mastering the operation of the console can seem intimidating to the novice surgeon, therefore emphasising the need for at least 100 h of training to attain proficiency. Key components of the console include the foot pedals, vision cart with 3D cameras and robotic arms replicating surgical movements, which together allow the surgeon to deliver safer more precise, minimally invasive procedures.
