Chameleon Leader Behaviors in Tourism and Hospitality Businesses

Supervisors who adopt flexible leadership are more equipped to handle various demands of their teams and their guests’ expectations. By adjusting management tactics to suit individual tastes and encouraging a responsive service environment, chameleon leadership in the hotel industry may increase employee happiness. This chapter explores the concept of “chameleon leader behaviors” and its implications for enhancing service quality, operational performance, organizational effectiveness, and competitiveness within tourism and hospitality organizations in Egypt. There is an urgent need for tourism and hospitality organizations to adapt their management methods and strategies. By harnessing the power of chameleon leadership, hotels will be able to operate more efficiently, provide a better guest experience, and improve staff morale.
