The Influence of Different Leadership Styles on Hotel Employees’ Communication Satisfaction
摘要
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of leadership styles and their constituent dimensions on communication and its subcomponents. Furthermore, the investigation explored the moderating role of communication in the relationship between transformational leadership and employee outcomes, including extra effort, effectiveness, and satisfaction. For this reason, a quantitative research design was employed to analyze data collected from a sample of 254 employees working in 4- and 5-star hotels. The results of this research indicate a significant positive association between transformational leadership and all communication dimensions. Conversely, transactional and passive leadership styles demonstrated no significant impact on communication. Finally, the findings suggest that communication moderates the link between transformational leadership and employee effectiveness, extra effort, and satisfaction.
