Effect of Thermal Chamber on Vital Signs as a Potential Respiratory Therapeutic

The Uluan Nughik Thermal Chamber (UNTC) is designed to regulate temperature, humidity, and negative room pressure based on the principles of physics. Negative pressure facilitates the removal of airway secretions and improves oxygen saturation (SpO2). During thermal therapy in the UNTC, continuous monitoring of vital signs is crucial for assessing patient well-being. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the thermal chamber in influencing key health parameters: body temperature, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and heart rate. The study seeks to determine whether the thermal chamber offers significant benefits in managing specific health conditions, with the goal of understanding its potential as an effective therapy for enhancing and improving health outcomes. Maintaining stable temperature, humidity, and negative room pressure in the UNTC is essential for optimal treatment and patient comfort. Monitoring pressure, air velocity, and humidity within the chamber further enhances therapy effectiveness. Observations revealed a direct proportionality between pressure and humidity, indicating that lower humidity corresponds to lower air pressure in the chamber. This decrease in humidity is inversely correlated with an increase in room temperature. By comparing pre- and post-treatment measurements of body temperature, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and heart rate using paired T-tests, the study found a significant difference only in blood pressure values, with a significance level (P) of ≤ 0.05. This suggests a noteworthy change in systolic and diastolic blood pressure after undergoing treatment in the thermal chamber.
