Situating in Bumi Agung Village, Tegineneng District, Pesawaran Regency is where the paving block business operates. Undoubtedly, observing the surroundings significantly minimizes the likelihood of work accidents and long-term health problems. Therefore, this research intends to examine the work stance with the assistance of the RULA technique and appraise the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) within the paving block employees. Additionally, this study purpose to establish the correlation between work posture and the risk of MSDs. Ultimately, the findings unveil that a substantial portion of workers are particularly susceptible to developing MSDs, primarily in the neck, shoulders, and wrists. Implementing ergonomic interventions should be a top priority in the workplace to mitigate the risk of MSDs among paving block workers. Conducting periodic evaluations to proactively address ergonomic issues is crucial for preventing and reducing the incidence of MSDs. The RULA analysis results for body postures 1, 2, and 3 among paving block workers yielded a final score of 7, indicating an urgent need for investigation and prompt action. Early detection of Musculoskeletal Disorders is expected to significantly enhance occupational safety and the overall health of workers in the paving block industry. Understanding the relationship between poor work posture and the risk of MSDs can help identify areas that require ergonomic interventions, promote safer work practices, and prevent potential long-term injuries for the workers.
