Bibliometric Analysis of Research Trends in Reverse Logistics in Indonesia in the Electric Vehicle Field

Reverse logistics is a frequently discussed topic because it is related to sustainability, which has become an important issue in recent times. Reverse logistics has become a hot topic in several companies worldwide. The growing interest in reverse logistics in the business world is evidenced by the increased level of activities in key sectors such as transportation, electronics, textiles, press, and others. Reverse logistics, which is a part of supply chain management, combined with the concept of sustainability, has also become a research trend in the field of supply chains. The importance of studying reverse logistics is demonstrated by the increasing number of publications in this field. This paper benefits researchers in the field of reverse logistics in electric vehicles by providing an overview of the academic development in this field, research trends, and directions that should be explored. A quantitative method with descriptive statistics is used to analyze all publications related to reverse logistics in the field of electric vehicles indexed by SCOPUS until October 2023. Data processing also involves comparing the development of reverse logistics knowledge in the field of electric vehicles worldwide and in Indonesia. An analysis of the comparative development of research on reverse logistics in the field of electric vehicles based on regions, subjects, and keywords is also discussed in this paper. Specifically, the research trends in reverse logistics in the field of electric vehicles in Indonesia are analyzed based on the related subject areas used to address reverse logistics issues. Academic trends in reverse logistics are also summarized from selected literature reviews.
