A Concept to Control and Monitoring of an Arm Robot Using Internet of Things

摘要

This paper presents an innovative approach to controlling and monitoring an arm robot utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The proposed system integrates various IoT-enabled sensors, including position, force, temperature, and proximity sensors, with a central control unit to enhance the precision, safety, and adaptability of robotic operations. The system architecture comprises the robotic arm, IoT sensors, a microcontroller, wireless communication modules, and a cloud-based platform for data storage and remote access. Through a series of experiments, the IoT-based system demonstrated superior performance in key metrics such as response time, positioning accuracy, and reliability compared to traditional robotic control systems. The cloud platform enabled remote monitoring and control, providing flexibility and reducing the need for on-site presence. User feedback highlighted the system's user-friendly interface and enhanced operational capabilities. The results indicate significant improvements in task performance, including precision assembly, load handling, and obstacle avoidance. The study also identifies challenges such as data latency and security concerns, suggesting future research directions to optimize and secure IoT-enabled robotic systems. The findings underscore the potential of IoT technology to transform robotic automation, paving the way for advancements in various industrial applications.
