摘要

The development of raw material processing for additive manufacturing processes is increasing. One of them is the process of recycling plastic waste as an additive manufacturing filament. One plastic waste used is polyethylene terephthalate (PET), such as bottles, glasses, and containers. The work done this time is to design an extrusion molding machine for PET recycled plastic. The result of this desktop extrusion mold is additive manufacturing filaments. These filaments can be used as 3D printing material for fused deposition modeling (FDM). Such machines are intended for small and medium-sized industries with a focus on small energy consumption, ease of operation, and ease of movement. Design optimization begins with increasing the device's capacity to 0.3 kg/h and using a single extruder to mix and melt plastic materials. This design requires 160 watts of electrical power motor and 420 watts of energy to heat the heater. Therefore, it takes four heating elements to heat the extruder with a total heat of 149100 J.
